Ivan Toney and Brentford teammate Nathan Collins have a heated argument on the pitch
Ivan Toney and Nathan Collins had a heated exchange of words after Brentford's draw with Aston Villa on Saturday.
For the first time since returning from his suspension earlier this season, Toney was left out of the Bees starting XI for the trip to Villa Park as he dealt with a muscle issue.
The Bees entered Saturday's clash without a Premier League win in their last eight, and their poor form looked set to continue when Ollie Watkins fired the hosts in front before half-time.
January arrival Morgan Rogers then added a second for Unai Emery's Champions League-chasing side after the interval.
Brentford fought back though, and in a ten-minute stretch had taken an unlikely lead courtesy of goals from Mathias Jorgensen, Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa.

The back-and-forth affair still had more drama in store however, and Watkins bolstered his claim to be Harry Kane's understudy at this summer's Euros by adding a second to take his tally for the season to 24 in all competitions.

With Brentford once again chasing the game, Toney came off the bench to replace Mikkel Damsgaard with ten minutes remaining.
However, the former Newcastle striker was unable to find a winning goal, and his side were forced to settle for a point as their winless streak stretched on.
The frustration of failing to secure three points was evident on the pitch following the final whistle, and TV cameras captured a heated exchange between Toney and Collins on the pitch.
Clearly unhappy with the result, Toney could be seen gesticulating towards the Irish defender.
The England international also appeared to reference his disappointment with the final scoreline by holding up three fingers on each hand.
The 28-year-old appeared to have been set off by a decision made by his teammate during the closing stages of the match.
The pair appear to have reconciled post-match however, with Collins sharing a picture of them to his Instagram story
Toney made a run into the box whilst Collins had possession deep into stoppage time, but the defender opted not to play the pass instead holding onto the ball to secure the draw.
Cooler heads seem to have prevailed once the players returned to the dressing room however, with Collins sharing a photo of the pair to his Instagram story accompanied by three lovehearts.
